The most important elements of our approach takes into account the tight schedule of the OM, the task-setting budget and the implementation of the design with minimal disruption. In addition, a number of core values such as sustainability, accessibility and transparency played a major role. The design is characterized by clear floorplans and a open and transparent appearance. This way the beautiful view of the ‘Rijnhaven’ and ‘Koningshaven’ has become much more visible in the interior and much more day-light has been ensured on the office-floors. There have been much attention to the different users and the specific needs of the Public Prosecutor. The refurbishment took place in four phases and during the implementation the office stayed in operation.

Public Prosecutors Rotterdam
In collaboration with Concern and Heembouw a new interior for the public prosecutor’s office in Rotterdam (Openbaar ministerie Rotterdam) has been realized within a very tight time-schedule. Divided over 8 floors about 300 workplaces for 400 FTE’s have been implemented according to a flexible working concept.
